来/在爱尔兰的家长们最关心的话题之一就是给家里的小朋友报学校了。因为爱尔兰初高中６年是一起的，所以college跟上哪个大学还是很重要的。爱尔兰学校分

Irish Times每年都会发布初高中的排名，不过这里说的他的排名是按升（大）学率来排名的（包括college等）。

首先可以看到2022年的私立(Fee paying)跟其他学校的progression rate还是有优势不过差距在缩小。但是单纯看去University的比例，私立71.5%明显还是高出很多。

下面表是按照升学率高到低的顺序排名，*表示是私立学校。百分比超过100的原因是因为包括之前cycle的学生，原文解释是：

"When the number who completed the Leaving Cert cycle in previous years and began

college this year is greater than the number of “sits” calculated by the Department of Education, it can result in a figure that is over 100 percent in somecases."

再看看一下表格，单纯看升University的比例的时候的排名。

这些数据仅供参考，因为只考虑国内progression rate，出国留学的学生等不反应在这个rate里。

很有意思的是他的排名是按升（大）学率来排名的。不过有的家长会更关心去了哪个大学（TCD, UCD还是NUIG等）。今年的数据比较齐全可以看到多少人去了哪一个大学，下面可以用不同的角度去看一下各个学校的特性。

首先是所有学校2020年跟2021年升学率（学生们升到third-level-大学的百分比）都是100%的学校的列表（注意：第一排不是排名，顺序没有优先级），可以看到总共有37所学校的学生们的升学率达到100%。

虽然其他学校像UCC, NUIG也是世界排名蛮高的学校，而且跟国内比可能距离上也不算很远，但是大部分倾向于选择Local的学校。所以我们看UCC或NUIG的话基本都是本地学校去的。都柏林的学生们除了Trinigy跟UCD之外大部分也会选择Local的学校们比如DCU或TUD。
