准备材料
根据短期还是长期准备, 感觉长期五年37欧很划算。
A temporary visitor visa is valid for 3 months from the date of issuance. An applicant may therefore apply for their visa within 3 months prior to entering Japan.
1. Valid passport – original and one photocopy
2. Immigration Registration Card (GNIB/INIS/IRP card) original and one photo copy (both sides)
3. One visa application form, completed and signed https://www.ie.emb-japan.go.
4. One standard passport-sized photograph (taken within the last 6 months)
5. Original letter from employer or academic institution in Ireland (issued within the last 3 months)
6. Recent bank statements or pay slips (covering the last 3 months; savings and/or current account; must include account holder’s full name) to show sufficient funds for the proposed trip
*If this is a trip for business purposes, a letter from the employer stating the details of the business trip and that the company will guarantee all the expenses for the trip, including travel to and from Japan may suffice for the requirement i.e. personal bank statements may be exempt in some cases.
*If this is not a trip for business purposes and the guarantor pays for the travel expenses, documents below are required;
i. Letter of Guarantee https://www.mofa.go.jp/files/
ii. Copy of guarantor’s passport
iii. Proof of relationship (Birth certificate, marriage certificate, etc.)
iv. Guarantor’s bank statements (covering the last 3 months)
7. Schedule of stay for the proposed trip https://www.ie.emb-japan.go.
8. Flight information journey to (including the flights from Ireland) and from Japan (an e-ticket or print-out from a travel agency, airline or travel website is acceptable)
*We do not require the purchase of tickets but we might require a confirmed reservation. We are not responsible for tickets which may be unusable due to delay or denial of a visa.
9. Accommodation information (booking confirmation or equivalent details from hotel/hotels’ websites or an on-line booking website)
*If accommodation information is relatives’/friends’ addresses in Japan, please provide their addresses in Japan on the ‘visa application form’ as well as ‘Schedule of Stay’.
10. If applicable, ‘Letter of reason for invitation’ https://www.mofa.go.jp/files/
a) relatives/friends in Japan if visiting them
b) companies/organisations to be visited in Japan if travelling for business
c) conference organisers in Japan if participating in a conference
*Detailed information about the conferences and the conference organisers in Japan is also required.
11. If visiting relatives/friends in Japan, proof of relationship, copies of inviters’ valid residence cards (both sides) or copies of Certificate of Residence if the inviters are Japanese.
12. In case of dependents travelling with legal spouse/parents, provide proof of relationship e.g. marriage certificate or birth certificate
Please see the list of required documents (please submit hard copies - do not staple) in order to apply for a multiple entry visa.

4. One standard passport-sized photograph (taken within the last six months)
5. Documents to prove the sufficient financial ability such as income certificate (Employment Detail Summery or P21/Statement of Liability for the previous year issued by the Revenue) of bank statements for the last 6 months
6. A letter of explanation stating the reasons of applying for a multiple visa
7. Additional documents may be required
The expected turnaround time for issuance of a visa is currently around one week if there are no issues with your application.
